Solid wood table made from tree trunk
From the remaining trunk of his father’s tree, Johannes designed 3 tables, depending on what was possible. Depending on the grain, the wood was glued in the middle to get a homogeneous top surface.
The design is puristic, the front side of the plate was left largely natural and organic to match the trunk. The table base was designed as a single band, without a base plate, in order to appear as light as possible and to put the plate in the centre.
