Welcome!

Great that you are here. Thank you for your interest!

I am an Austrian freelance Designer based in the south of Vienna with the studio located in the beautiful HotelMARIA, which is also run by my family.

My passion is to create and design new products.

I am designing vehicles, tractors, machines, products, sculptures, interiors, graphics and much more. My specialty is the design of mobility and agricultural machines, a huge topic of the future.

My mindset is to rethink the future and design intelligent, aesthetic, meaningful and sustainable products of the next generation.

Design Destinations in my career where at FUORE Design I Barcelona, at MAGNA Steyr I Graz and therefore at OEM`s like BMW, MINI, OPEL, FIAT and global Asian manufacturers.

I am glad to work with “ITL – International Tractors Limited”, a fast growing Indian tractor comapny, on a visionary “European design” for the entire vehicle generation with the brands “SOLIS” and “SONALIKA”. The goal is to develop a global design language that works not only in India but also in the rest of the world. We strengthen the Brand through Product Design.

We turn a successful local brand into a internationally competitive brand through Product Design.

The tractors are now sold in over 100 countries worldwide. In 2022 Solis Tractos has been at the greatest agricultural exhibitions with its newest products in EIMA2022 Bologna as well as in SIMA2022 Paris.

Johannes draws on extensive experience in transportation design and industrial design. Important is the thought process, what questions you ask and what goal you pursue in the development of a product. From the gear lever to the interior to the exterior of a vehicle, everything can be conceived, drawn, constructed and implemented. Johannes accompanies you.

Even before the product development, we talk about the result. We think backwards. What ist he outcome? How do we do it? What is expected? What does the market? What is the experience? What does the eye say? We ask the uncomfortable questions first. A clear product strategy creates products that have a unique selling point, clearly positions the company and thus contribute to long-term success.

TECHNOLOGY I digital tools

With a 3D Autodesk Alias license for importing construction data, Johannes is able to generate tailor-made, area-optimized designs while maintaining functionality. High-end tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk Alias ​​3D are used for photo-realistic drawings. They are the basis for creating the greatest possible DESIGN QUALITY of a product.
